New Moon Sister Circles
It is an honour and a privilege to be of service to the women of my local community by offering monthly New Moon Sister Circles. A sacred gathering for women to come together, to witness each other, to feel held, and to be heard. I love working with the moon and believe in her power and her energy and so when I got the calling to offer New Moon Sister Circles, I knew this is what I am meant to be doing.
The New Moon is a powerful time for setting intentions, motivating, getting clear on goals, and clearing space, enabling you to move forward. These circles will harness this powerful energy and hold you in a safe and loving space where you will be free to be your true, authentic self, able to express yourself in a way that allows you to be heard and witnessed. They will help you with your motivation, accountability, give you encouragement and support.
What does a New Moon Sister Circle look like?
Each Circle will be created around the specific New Moon of the Month so that there will be a theme for you to think about what you want to bring in, set your intentions and goals although of course you don't have to focus purely on the energy of that individual moon.
The format of the circle looks something like this:
Welcome and house rules
Call in Goddess to open the Circle and create a safe container for the evening
Breathwork for grounding and centering
Introduction to the New Moon we are honouring
Invitation for each participant to introduce themselves and to share what they wish to bring in, what intentions they want to set using the energy of the New Moon. (This is not compulsory and whatever is shared during the evening is treated as confidential and never leaves the circle)
A guided meditation
Journalling
Clearing ceremony
Create an affirmation for the circle for the month ahead
Opportunity to pull some orcale cards
Final words
The circle will last for approximately 90 minutes.
Traditionally circles take place on the floor with women sitting on mats and cushions. However, in order to be as inclusive as possible, my circles will be with us sitting on chairs. This does not take away the sacredness of the circle, but it does make it easier and more accessible for everyone.
Dates and times of New Moon Sister Circles
All circles start at 7pm prompt and are held at Bay Club, Cassis Close, Burnham on Sea. TA8 1NN. There is plenty of parking at the centre and disabled access.
